Honda mostra futuro elétrico com nova série de veículos

Honda has called back more than 259,000 vehicles in the U.S. due to a problem with the brake pedal. The issue may affect 259,033 vehicles in the U.S., including the Acura TLX, Acura MDX, and Honda Pilot models from the 2021 to 2025 model years.

The concern is with the brake pedal pivot pin, a critical component that may not comply with federal safety standards.

According to a note from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the brake pedal pivot pin in some of these vehicles was not properly secured during production. This issue may cause the pedal to detach, increasing the risk of accidents.

“The problem may also cause an abnormal feeling for the driver when pressing the brake pedal, illuminate the brake warning light on the instrument panel, or cause the vehicle’s brake lights to remain on even when the pedal is not being used”, Honda America stated in a release.

As a result, Honda states that dealerships will conduct inspections on the vehicles covered by this recall and will replace the brake pedal if necessary, free of charge.
