Protótipo Honda 0 revelado no Japão

Despite the camouflaged paint, the prototype of the Honda SUV 0 was presented to the public last weekend at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Japan, during an event organized by the Red Bull team.

Behind the wheel of Honda’s new 100% electric SUV was F1 world champion Max Verstappen, who drove this futuristic SUV alongside his teammate, Yuki Tsunoda, showcasing Honda’s new SUV that is expected to hit the market next year.

First presented last year at CES in Las Vegas, the Honda 0 is one of two models that anticipate the electric future of the Japanese brand, along with a sedan, the 0 Saloon.

Both models are set to be produced at Honda’s EV Hub in Ohio, USA, with the SUV being the first to enter production, scheduled for launch in North America in early 2026, while the sedan will arrive at the end of next year.

The prototype of the new 0 range SUV, which participated in the weekend event in Japan, showcased a camouflage of geometric lines, featuring a crossover silhouette, a distinctly sloped windshield, and a squared rear section marked by thin vertical taillights and a slim rear window.

The new Honda SUV promises to feature a high number of sensors and cameras, capable of learning everything about the occupants and their surroundings. According to the Japanese brand, the vehicle will be able to recognize the emotional state of the driver and react accordingly.

The interior of the SUV 0 promises plenty of space and a generously sized screen, including a screen intended for the front passenger. The prototype displayed in Japan featured traditional rearview mirrors, suggesting that this is already a prototype very close to the production model.
