Honda has inaugurated the Racing Gallery at the Suzuka Circuit, a space that serves as an exhibition of Honda’s lineage of F1 single-seaters.
The gallery will serve as a communication center for Honda’s motorsport activities and includes presentations on the challenges the Japanese brand faced to become “number one in the world,” as well as various competition technologies.
The new Honda space features the RA272, which provided the Japanese brand’s first-ever victory in an F1 race at the 1965 Mexican GP, and the Red Bull Racing Honda RB16B, with which Max Verstappen won the 2021 Drivers’ World Championship.
In addition, a collection of F1 single-seaters is displayed at the back of the main hall, showcasing the history of Honda’s challenges and victories in F1 races. The panel behind each machine features a large screen that tells the story of the machine, allowing visitors to appreciate the “history of victory.”
Also on display are Honda’s past F1 engines and power units.
