The new Honda Civic Type R has been available in Portugal since 2023, having sold out all units allocated to the national market in just 72 hours.
Now Honda has announced that it has secured the arrival of 7 more units of the new Civic Type R for the national market. This effort by the national importer will allow 7 new customers to drive one of the most iconic models of the Japanese brand.
It is worth noting that the new Type R is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo engine, the same as its predecessor, which has been refined and delivers a power output of 329 hp and a maximum torque of 420 Nm, paired with an improved six-speed manual transmission.
In terms of performance, the new Honda Civic Type R accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and can reach a top speed of 275 km/h. Honda has already announced that the Civic Type R is available in the national market with a starting price of €74,000.
