HENNESSEY PITS DEMON 170 AGAINST FERRARI 812 GTS; EXORCISM WORKS BEST IN V12 SERMONS.

Hennessey Performance, known for their expertise in building and driving extremely fast cars, is taking on the challenge of making the Demon 170 even faster. While Dodge made bold claims about the power of the Challenger, Hennessey plans to push the limits even further.

The Demon 170 boasts an impressive 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque when using E85 fuel on a prepped surface with optimal weather conditions and warm tires. However, Hennessey aims to optimize the car for drag racing by increasing its power output to 900 horsepower and 810 lb-ft of torque on E10 fuel. The car is even capable of detecting the type of fuel and adjusting its performance accordingly.

Despite its impressive power, the Demon 170 falls short when compared to the Ferrari 812 GTS in terms of performance. In a recent drag race, the Italian supercar outperformed the muscle car in both standing quarter runs and rolling start races. Some may argue that the Demon 170 was not on a prepped surface and was not running on E85 fuel, but these factors do not account for the significant difference in performance.

One factor that may contribute to the Demon 170’s inferior performance is its bulky body, weighing in at 4,280 lbs. This significantly affects its power-to-weight ratio compared to the sleek Italian supercar. Additionally, the skill of the driver plays a crucial role in maximizing the potential of any car.

The Ferrari 812 GTS, essentially a convertible version of the 812 Superfast, is powered by a 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine that produces 789 horsepower and 530 lb-ft of torque. With a high-revving motor that reaches up to 8,900 RPM and a compression ratio of 13.6:1, the Italian masterpiece delivers exceptional performance.

In conclusion, Hennessey Performance is determined to make the Demon 170 even faster, but it faces tough competition from the Ferrari 812 GTS. The Italian supercar’s superior performance and elegant design make it a formidable opponent on the dragstrip.

In a stunning display of power and speed, the Ferrari has left its competition in the dust. With a lightweight body and impressive performance, this European powerhouse is a force to be reckoned with. Clocking in at just 2.8 seconds in the 0-62 mph sprint, the Ferrari is a true speed demon. And it doesn’t stop there – this sleek machine can reach a top speed of 211 mph (340 kph), leaving its competitors in the rearview mirror.

Comparing pound for pound, the Ferrari outshines the Dodge muscle car. With an impressive 483 hp/ton (486 PS/ton), the Ferrari blows away the Dodge’s 410 hp/ton (416 PS/ton). It’s clear that the Ferrari’s superior power is the main reason for the muscle car’s disappointment in this event.

But the excitement doesn’t end there. There’s anticipation building for the mighty Mopar, particularly John Hennessey’s personal Demon 170. With the Demon 1700 twin-turbo upgrade, this beast is set to unleash a mind-blowing 1,700 hp (1,724 PS). This upgrade will undoubtedly rewrite the quarter-mile gospel for muscle cars, establishing a new speed religion. Whether you’re a fan of hellfire or not, there’s no denying the power and dominance of the Demon 1700.

In the world of speed, there’s no doubt that the Ferrari and the Demon 1700 are at the top of their game. These machines are the epitome of power and performance, leaving their competitors in awe. Stay tuned for more updates on these incredible vehicles and the exciting world of speed.
