Helmut Marko estabelece objetivos ‘claros’ para a Red Bull enquanto afirma que a equipe está preparada para garantir a Max Verstappen seu quarto campeonato de F1.

The Dutch pilot is the favorite to win the championship for the fourth consecutive time.

Helmut Marko and Max Verstappen

Last year, Verstappen achieved an impressive feat by winning 21 out of the 22 Grand Prix races. Out of those 21 victories, 19 were won by Verstappen himself. In a recent interview, Verstappen revealed the goals set for him in the upcoming season.

Considered one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers in history, the reigning champion is still in his twenties. He surpassed a significant milestone last season by surpassing Lewis Hamilton’s record of 53 wins. If things continue as they are, Verstappen is on track to claim the throne. In light of these achievements, the Red Bull consultant revealed the goal for Verstappen to achieve in 2024.

The team and Verstappen aim to win their fourth consecutive title, according to the Austrian. At 26 years old, Verstappen has only improved with experience and has an insatiable hunger for more victories. However, fans long for a competitive battle for the championship, but it seems unlikely against the dominant Dutch pilot.

Last year, the Austrian team enjoyed a comfortable lead and could have triumphed from any starting position. However, the situation has changed and Marko believes that the next season will not be as smooth.

Marko predicts that Mercedes will be the closest competitor to Red Bull. Furthermore, he is concerned about his team’s performance in terms of speed on a single lap. Allowing Ferrari to secure the best positions on the grid can be detrimental on tracks that are challenging for overtaking.

As the race weekend approaches, teams are stepping up their preparations. Red Bull remains the favorite for the title, but Ferrari is expected to be a close competitor and could disrupt the party in Milton Keynes if problems arise within the Red Bull camp.
