Helmut Marko elogia Max Verstappen como ‘IMBATÍVEL’ após testemunhar suas exibições incrivelmente dominantes em 2024.

Max Verstappen has been on a wave of success under the current F1 rules. He continues his dominant streak in the elite category of motorsport, even during the 2024 season. Verstappen has already secured four race wins, thanks to the impressive RB20. He has received plenty of praise from most of his competitors. Therefore, amidst the dominant form of the current world champion, experts consider him ‘unbeatable’.

Verstappen’s performance trajectory at the beginning of the previous season was similar. It was clear that the Dutchman was on a clear path to defend his title. The situation for the current world champion was improving.

This quality was also evident in the development and adjustment of the RB20 to Verstappen’s preferences. The Red Bull advisor also mentioned that Verstappen and his race engineer were working in perfect harmony.

Furthermore, Marko stated that Verstappen was no longer “impatient” with his performances in F1. According to the Austrian, the Red Bull star was aiming to secure pole position and victory in every race. His exceptional tire management skills further increased his chances of winning. Therefore, due to these circumstances, the three-time world champion was considered ‘unbeatable’ in F1.

Ferrari and McLaren have been consistently closing the gap to Max Verstappen and Red Bull since the start of the season. Therefore, updates throughout the season will see rival teams closing in on the dominant leaders. Helmut Marko believed that slow street circuits like Miami and Monaco could witness rival teams getting closer to the Austrian constructor. Marko predicted that Verstappen would face difficulties in securing pole position on these circuits.

The Chinese GP showed a significant improvement in McLaren’s pace, as they secured a second place ahead of Verstappen. Marko expressed his surprise at this situation. However, the Austrian expected Ferrari to show more pace against Verstappen throughout the weekend. Unfortunately, Maranello failed to reach a top three position in any of the race sessions, resulting in a significant loss of points.

The 2024 season promises to be highly exciting for fans for several reasons. The top five teams are very close in terms of points, and any team can make significant progress. Updates during the season for Mercedes may help them secure smoother races as the season progresses. Only time will tell how different teams will withstand Red Bull’s dominance.
