The Red Bull advisor has now openly acknowledged that he considered leaving the team at the end of 2023. There were rumors that the octogenarian was responsible for leaking internal evidence related to Christian Horner’s investigation to the media. However, the situation has since calmed down. Marko even mentioned that Red Bull chose to overlook the alleged leaking of evidence against Horner due to lack of legal basis.
Furthermore, Marko made it clear that he would not be suspended by Red Bull. He stated that Milton Keynes would strive to the fullest to secure the 2024 F1 World Championship title. Previously, Max Verstappen had expressed his intention to leave the team if Marko was forced to depart.
