Helmut Marko afirma que a Red Bull não consegue competir com a oferta atraente da Audi para Carlos Sainz.

According to reports, Audi has shown interest in acquiring Carlos Sainz for the upcoming season. However, there are rumors that Red Bull is also interested in hiring the Spanish driver to replace Sergio Perez.

Sainz’s future in Formula 1 has become a hot topic behind the scenes. Rumors suggest that the 29-year-old driver has been in talks with several teams for the next season. Red Bull has been consistently mentioned as a possible destination for Sainz in 2025. Therefore, Helmut Marko, an advisor to Red Bull, shared his thoughts on the possibility of Sainz returning to the team.

Audi has been monitoring Sainz in recent months. The German manufacturer reportedly gave the Spaniard a two-week ultimatum to secure a spot with Audi. However, there have been no further updates on this matter. Marko confirmed that Red Bull has been in talks with Sainz for the upcoming season. He also praised Sainz’s performance in 2024, considering it his best season.

Marko also mentioned that Sainz received a lucrative offer from Audi for the next season. He acknowledged that Red Bull would not be able to match this offer from the German manufacturer. Marko also reflected on Sainz’s time at Toro Rosso (now known as Red Bull) and admitted that the 29-year-old driver was disappointed when the team favored Max Verstappen over him.

Carlos Sainz stated that he has several good options for the upcoming season. He has been in talks with several teams on the grid. However, he is only considering teams that can provide him with a car capable of winning races. Sainz emphasized that his decision on which team to join will depend on the commitments the constructor is willing to make. The offers from the teams will heavily influence his final decision and, despite the uncertainty, Sainz is optimistic due to the several good offers he has received.

Since the start of the 2024 season, Carlos Sainz has consistently outperformed his teammate. He has proven that he deserves a place in Formula 1. It remains to be seen how these lucrative offers will unfold for Sainz. For now, he will remain focused on performing at his best during the remainder of his time with Ferrari.
