Hamilton uncertain about Mercedes’ performance in Jeddah.

Lewis Hamilton, the British driver for Mercedes AMG, expressed his lack of confidence in the rear of his Formula 1 car during the practice sessions for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. In an effort to address issues with the previous car, Mercedes made significant changes to their latest model, the W15. Despite a disappointing performance in Bahrain due to cooling concerns, both Hamilton and his teammate George Russell were satisfied with the overall performance of the car. However, Hamilton struggled during the second practice session in Jeddah, finishing eighth overall and trailing Russell by four tenths of a second. Hamilton made several adjustments to the car between sessions in an attempt to improve rear stability, but was unsuccessful. He admitted to experiencing moments of instability at high speeds, which affected his confidence in the car. Hamilton and Russell took different approaches to car setup, with Russell appearing to be more comfortable with the W15. Hamilton emphasized his desire for a stable rear, as this would greatly enhance his performance.
