Lewis Hamilton’s highly anticipated union with Ferrari in the F1 world seems to be on the verge of a dramatic meltdown as reports from Italy expose ‘deep cracks’ in their dream partnership. The once-promising match between the seven-time world champion and the iconic Italian team is now facing a potential crisis, just six races into the 2025 season.

Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport has not held back, labeling the situation as a ‘luxury marriage that risks turning into a crisis.’ The publication highlights Hamilton’s visible frustration during the recent Miami Grand Prix, where he openly expressed his discontent with Ferrari’s strategy, leading to a disappointing eighth-place finish for the British star.

With Hamilton trailing a massive 90 points behind the championship leader, tensions are running high at Maranello as Ferrari languishes in fourth place in the Constructors’ standings, a staggering 152 points behind the leading team. The disappointment on both the track and in the standings has prompted concerns about the future of this highly publicized partnership.

The Italian media has been quick to criticize the handling of the Hamilton-Ferrari alliance, suggesting that the team’s delay in decision-making during races has only exacerbated the existing issues. Despite the initial hype surrounding Hamilton’s move to Ferrari and the subsequent boost in sponsorship and brand value, the lackluster performance on the track threatens to overshadow any marketing gains.

As the F1 circuit gears up to head to Imola, all eyes will be on Ferrari to see if they can turn the tide and salvage what is left of the season. With new regulations set to come into effect in June, there is a glimmer of hope for a potential comeback, but the pressure on Hamilton and Ferrari to deliver results has never been higher.

The once-promising partnership between Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari is now teetering on the brink of collapse, leaving fans and experts alike questioning whether this union will go down in history as a monumental failure or the stage for a legendary comeback in the world of Formula 1.
