Hamilton Eyes Redemption at Imola: ‘The Car Has More to Give’

After a frustrating outing in Miami, seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton is setting his sights on redemption at Imola, as he continues his first season behind the wheel of the Ferrari SF-25. Amid swirling rumors of Ferrari’s advanced rear suspension upgrades, Hamilton was quick to dismiss the noise, choosing instead to focus on what truly matters: performance.

“The car still has a lot of performance that we haven’t been able to unlock,” Hamilton stated, showing both awareness of the challenges ahead and belief in the untapped potential of his Ferrari. While the early part of the season has been marked by ups and downs, Hamilton remains resolute in his mission to extract every ounce of speed from his machine.

Imola will be the first of a crucial European triple-header, followed by the glamour and chaos of Monte Carlo, and the technical demands of Montmeló (Barcelona). For Hamilton, this stretch of races is not just about points — it’s about proving that he and Ferrari are a force to be reckoned with.

“I’m not here to settle,” Hamilton said firmly. “We have to stay positive, stay aggressive, and keep pushing. Every race is a chance to close the gap, to strike.”

His hunger for victory is palpable, and it’s clear that Hamilton is far from satisfied with simply being on the grid. At 39, his fire still burns as brightly as ever — and with the Tifosi ready to roar at Imola, Hamilton’s push for a podium — or more — could mark the turning point in his Ferrari journey.

The stage is set. The champion is ready. Imola awaits.
