Haas Founder to Conquer Goodwood Festival of Speed Hillclimb in F1 Showdown

Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping spectacle as Gene Haas, the mastermind behind the Haas Formula 1 team, gears up to conquer the iconic Goodwood Festival of Speed hillclimb in an F1 car!

At the forthcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed, the 72-year-old racing enthusiast will not only be showcasing his driving skills in the VF23 but will also be joined by the team’s 2025 drivers, Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman, team principal Ayao Komatsu, and Kazuki Nakajima, vice chairman of Toyota’s WEC program.

Haas is all set to make a grand entrance at the prestigious event to celebrate a decade in F1. Alongside the thrilling hillclimb by the star-studded lineup, the team will also feature an interactive hub and a dedicated space in the Ballroom Paddock. Enthusiasts can feast their eyes on a display of Haas’ first F1 car, the VF16, as well as the current VF25 contender. Additionally, a range of items from the team’s archives, including race suits, helmets, car parts, and memorabilia, will be showcased for fans and visitors.

Expressing his excitement, Komatsu stated, “It makes perfect sense for us to celebrate our tenth season in the sport with some of the most knowledgeable and passionate fans in the world.” He further added, “There are going to be a lot more announcements to come around what we’re going to be doing at Goodwood, it’s going to be one of the highlights of our year.”

Ocon, one of the drivers, shared his anticipation for the event, saying, “The Goodwood Festival of Speed is an amazing event…We’re going to have lots of exciting things to show – it’s a celebration for us – and it’s great that we can share with fans as well.”

The 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed promises to be a thrilling extravaganza, scheduled to take place from 10 to 13 July. Get ready to witness high-octane action and unparalleled excitement at this must-see event for all motorsport enthusiasts!
