Guenther Steiner Slams Andretti’s F1 Bid: ‘All Talk, No Strategy’

Lewis Hamilton’s blockbuster move to Ferrari in 2025 has drawn a mixed reaction from fans and pundits alike. While some see it as a bold final chapter in the seven-time champion’s storied career, others question whether the 40-year-old is past his prime and if he can truly lead Ferrari back to the top.

However, former Haas team boss Guenther Steiner has a clear message for Hamilton—don’t waste energy on negativity.

“You should never think about it, because you will never do something thinking that it doesn’t work,” Steiner said.

Steiner, who knows all too well about handling criticism, believes that Hamilton must fully commit to his Ferrari journey without second-guessing himself.

“If it doesn’t work, you will take care of it when you get to your destination. If you think that it couldn’t work, you shouldn’t do it.”

Can Hamilton Deliver Ferrari’s Long-Awaited Title?

Hamilton’s switch to the Prancing Horse isn’t just a personal challenge—it’s a mission to restore Ferrari to championship glory. The Maranello squad has shown steady progress in recent seasons, but the arrival of one of F1’s greatest drivers could be the final piece of the puzzle.

“He has obviously thought for a long time about this decision and said that this is what he wants to do, and now he has to go all the way,” Steiner added.
“This could be the reason why Ferrari will become world champion again.”

With Ferrari’s steady improvement and a strong lineup alongside Charles Leclerc, Hamilton has a real shot at delivering a championship in the iconic red suit.

The Perfect Storm for a Ferrari Revival?

Hamilton’s move to Ferrari comes at a critical moment in F1 history:

✅ Ferrari has improved substantially, regularly challenging Red Bull and McLaren.
✅ The 2026 regulations shake-up looms, meaning teams must prepare for a new era of car design.
✅ Hamilton’s vast experience could be Ferrari’s missing ingredient in title fights.

“He must not waste time thinking that he cannot work, because this requires energy, so he does the best he can,” Steiner emphasized.

The Tifosi are dreaming of Ferrari’s return to dominance—and Hamilton might just be the driver to make it happen.

The Verdict: A Make-or-Break Move for Hamilton

With 40 wins and seven world titles, Hamilton has nothing left to prove—yet his Ferrari adventure could be the defining chapter of his career.

If he delivers a title, he will cement his place as one of the greatest of all time, if not the greatest. If he struggles, critics will claim he should have retired at Mercedes.

One thing is certain—Hamilton’s Ferrari journey will be one of the biggest stories in F1 history.

Can Hamilton end Ferrari’s title drought, or will this move become his biggest challenge yet? The 2025 season can’t come soon enough.
