Guenther Steiner sugere que Carlos Sainz não está com pressa de se juntar à Audi apesar de especulações sobre Mercedes e Red Bull.

Carlos Sainz is currently one of the most sought-after drivers in the Formula 1 driver market. The ongoing saga surrounding Audi’s pursuit of the three-time Grand Prix winner has been a topic of discussion for some time. The German manufacturer is eager to secure Sainz’s services, but the driver himself is hesitating, waiting for better options to come his way.

Top teams like Mercedes and Red Bull have expressed their interest in Carlos Sainz, making him a person of interest for both the current constructor champions and one of the most successful teams in the sport. The Spaniard is being considered for a possible drive with either of these teams in the 2025 season.

Despite Audi’s existing relationship with the Sainz family, thanks to Carlos’ father, the former Haas team boss believes that the current Ferrari driver is not particularly interested in leading Audi’s F1 operation. This sentiment was made clear by the Italo-American, leaving no doubt that Audi is likely Sainz’s last choice in terms of preference. The uncertainty surrounding Audi’s position in the pecking order when they officially enter the sport in 2026 may be one of the reasons why the 29-year-old driver is taking his time to make a decision.

This year’s driver market has proven to be highly unpredictable, with the announcement of Carlos Sainz’s deal with Ferrari for 2025 being the catalyst for volatility. While Sainz does his best to delay Audi’s advances, former F1 driver [Name] believes he is making the right choice.

Carlos Sainz is currently at the peak of his career in Formula 1. Recognizing his own strong performance, he is cautious about joining a team like Audi, which will be a newcomer to the sport starting in 2026. With 18 races still to be contested in the 2024 F1 season, it will be intriguing to see how the Sainz-Audi saga unfolds in the coming months.
