The National Republican Guard (GNR) is carrying out an operation of inspection focused on road transport of goods and passengers between this Tuesday and May 19.
In a statement, the GNR clarifies that the inspection operation, which takes place within the framework of the European Traffic Police Network (RoadPol), an organization established by the traffic police of Europe, aims to improve road safety and compliance with road regulations, with the objective of “ensuring safety conditions in the transport of people and goods and detecting violations in order to promote road safety”.
With this action, which will take place on the most critical roads under the responsibility of the GNR and where a higher volume of this type of vehicles is observed, “the aim is to raise public awareness about the importance of adopting safer behaviors by professional drivers, with a view to promoting road safety and safeguarding human lives”, concludes the statement.
