The Republican National Guard (GNR) has on the road until November 12, the control and inspection operation “ECR 2023 – Tachographs and driving and rest times”, aimed at road transport of goods and passengers, throughout the continental national territory.
In a statement, the GNR advances that the “selective inspection operation” also aims to promote improved working conditions and fair competition in the transport sector, throughout the national territory.
With this type of operation, the Republican National Guard “also seeks to raise awareness of the importance of adopting safer behaviors by professional drivers, with a view to promoting road safety and safeguarding human lives”, the statement adds.
The GNR has announced that it will pay special attention to the most critical roads, based on the analysis of accidents, its responsibility, and where there is a higher volume of traffic of this type of vehicles.
