George Russell: ‘O carro parece mais agradável de pilotar, mas a Red Bull parece ter feito um ótimo trabalho’

Yesterday, George Russell had the honor of debuting the new Mercedes W15 in official Formula 1 tests. In this way, he was able to have the most faithful first impressions about the new car, which pleased him.

Quoted by PlanetF1.com, the British driver analyzed: ‘It seems like a step in the right direction. But there is no hiding the fact that our competitors have done a really good job. We know we had a mountain to climb with the performance that Red Bull showed last year, and it was a huge test for anyone to overcome that distance. But the car definitely feels more enjoyable to drive’.

Having said that, Russell emphasized that the stopwatch is what dictates the rules and, despite the unknowns, he currently attributed favoritism to Red Bull: ‘Ultimately, it depends on lap times. We haven’t really seen where everyone stands yet. But Red Bull seems to have done a great job again and they are undoubtedly the favorites.
