George Russell pronto para desafiar Max Verstappen pelo título de campeão mundial de F1 sem hesitação.

George Russell has been practicing his profession with the Mercedes team since 2022. The talented driver has expressed his determination to compete against formidable opponents in his quest for a world championship. Although currently the fourth fastest team on the grid, Mercedes has shown promising improvements in speed in recent races.

Max Verstappen, the current three-time consecutive world champion, once again finds himself leading the drivers’ championship this season. However, his domination is not as pronounced as before, as he faces strong competition from McLaren and Ferrari, who have significantly raised their pace.

Looking to the future, George Russell discusses the upcoming engine regulations changes for 2026. He remains optimistic about his own performance and the hard work Mercedes is putting in to build a faster car. Russell even considers the idea of having Verstappen as his teammate, should the rumors about his possible move to Mercedes come true.

Russell has pledged his loyalty to Mercedes and is confident in his ability to stand out for the team, regardless of who his future teammate may be. As Mercedes prepares for the upcoming races, their goal is to maximize their chances of securing podiums and victories, after a disappointing start to the 2024 season.

The head of the Mercedes team, Toto Wolff, reveals that seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton has had a change of heart regarding his decision to part ways with Mercedes. Hamilton has been with the team since 2013 and has led them to six world championships.

Since the regulatory changes in 2022, Mercedes has struggled to be competitive, with Hamilton failing to secure any victories since his last win at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in 2021. On the other hand, Ferrari has experienced a resurgence this season, highlighted by their magnificent victory at the Monaco Grand Prix. This presents a tempting opportunity for Hamilton to potentially join the Ferrari team in 2025.

Under the leadership of Toto Wolff, Mercedes is now seeking a worthy driver to fill the shoes of one of their greatest drivers of all time in the 2025 season. As for Lewis Hamilton, he will strive to make the most of his opportunities at Ferrari, while aiming to achieve an eighth world title that would break records.
