George Russell expressed his belief that the upcoming film ‘F1’, a collaboration between Brad Pitt and Lewis Hamilton, would achieve great success. The movie delves deep into the world of motorsport, specifically Formula 1, and shares intriguing stories about the APX GP team. The entire racing community eagerly anticipates this film, which has a staggering budget of $300 million and is backed by Apple. Amidst this excitement, Russell openly voiced his support for this ambitious project.

Russell showered praise upon the high-budget film created by Hamilton and Pitt. The movie aims to capture the essence of Formula 1 by featuring realistic depictions of the sport’s challengers and their crashes. Its objective is to provide viewers with an authentic portrayal of the behind-the-scenes workings of an F1 constructor, while staying as true to reality as possible.

According to Russell, Brad Pitt has gone above and beyond to ensure the movie’s authenticity. The renowned actor has made significant efforts to depict the sport accurately, even undergoing extensive practice to drive a high-speed challenger for the film’s shooting. This dedication to realism has impressed Russell, further fueling his belief in the movie’s potential success.

As the vacant seat at Mercedes, left by Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari, remains unfilled, George Russell has emerged as one of the top contenders to join the Brackley-based team in the upcoming season. Should he secure the position, Russell believes that his partnership with the young driver, whose name is withheld, would offer valuable learning opportunities.

Toto Wolff, the team principal at Mercedes, acknowledges the potential risks involved in signing Kimi Antonelli, although he recognizes the prodigy’s skills. The 17-year-old driver’s exposure to the media as a member of the prestigious Silver Arrow team could prove overwhelming for him. Furthermore, the prospect of pairing him with Russell, who is widely regarded as one of the best drivers on the grid, adds another aspect to consider.

While Mercedes contemplates its driver lineup for the next season, the team remains focused on the current campaign. Brackley has made significant strides in terms of pace, posing a formidable challenge to their competitors. It will be intriguing to witness how the remaining two seasons of the ground-effect era unfold for the German car manufacturer.
