Galp ultrapassa um milhão de carregamentos na rede de mobilidade elétrica em 2023

Galp announced that it ended the year 2023 with over one million charges in its electric mobility network, representing a 67% growth compared to the same period in 2022.

The numbers, which constitute the company’s best result ever in this operation in the Iberian Peninsula, reflect the growth of the electric vehicle market in Portugal. “This is a trend that Galp has been anticipating by strengthening its leading position in offering services for electric mobility,” the company stated in a press release.

With around 4,000 charging points installed in Portugal, of which 12% are fast and 8% are ultra-fast, Galp operates the largest electric mobility network in the country.

“Galp’s charging infrastructure has nearly doubled every year since 2020, anticipating the needs of a rapidly growing market,” the company added.

In Portugal and Spain, Galp has approximately 5,000 charging points installed. “The company’s expectation is to reach 10,000 points by the end of 2025,” concludes the company’s statement.
