Formula 1 pre-season testing is currently in progress in Bahrain, as the cars hit the track for the very first time. The main objective of today’s session is to gain a more comprehensive insight into the performance of the different car packages at the Sakhir International circuit. A noteworthy aspect observed on all ten cars is the inclusion of significant aero rake devices. These devices have been specifically crafted to measure the airflow over the bodywork of the cars, thereby supplying engineers with vital data to assess performance.
