Furious McLaren Exposes Red Bull’s Controversial Rear-Wing Tactics in F1 Flex Showdown

McLaren Launches Blistering Attack on Red Bull in Ongoing Rear-Wing Controversy

The Formula 1 world is ablaze with controversy as McLaren’s boss, Andrea Stella, directs a scathing assault towards Red Bull in the heated debate over rear-wing flex. Regulations set out at the beginning of the 2025 season demanded stricter rear wings, with further restrictions imposed by Round 2 in China. The drama unfolded in Azerbaijan when Oscar Piastri’s McLaren MCL38 showcased flex in the rear wing’s uppermost plane, leading to what has been dubbed as ‘mini-DRS’ effect.

Despite the regulations being tightened, video evidence surfaced in Japan showing Lando Norris’ MCL39 and Max Verstappen’s RB21, with the former exhibiting significantly more flex. McLaren’s detractors, including Jos Verstappen, raised doubts about the footage, igniting a firestorm on social media. However, Andrea Stella swiftly extinguished the flexi-wing debate, dismissing it as a mere technicality within the regulations.

McLaren stands firm in asserting the compliance of its rear wing, with Norris hitting back at critics labeling them as ‘clueless.’ In a bold statement, Norris shifted the blame onto Red Bull, urging them to step up their game instead of incessantly complaining. He emphasized that both teams operate well within the rules, with McLaren doing an exemplary job.

Furthermore, Norris questioned the validity of video evidence taken out of context, highlighting the ignorance of those quick to jump to conclusions without a comprehensive understanding of the situation. As tensions soar between McLaren and Red Bull, the F1 world eagerly awaits the next twist in this gripping saga.

Stay tuned for more updates on this high-octane feud as McLaren and Red Bull lock horns in the battle for supremacy on the track.
