Fuel prices will decrease next week. Diesel and gasoline will experience a slight drop.
According to calculations by “Jornal de Negócios“, on Monday, April 29, the price of regular gasoline 95 is expected to decrease by 2 cents per liter to an average price of €1.801 per liter. As for regular diesel, the most commonly used fuel in Portugal, it is also expected to decrease by 2 cents per liter, to €1.588.
The specialized publication in economic matters indicates that these prices already take into account the discounts applied by fuel companies and the revision of temporary tax measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices. The tax reduction determined by the measures currently in force is 25 cents per liter of diesel and 26 cents per liter of gasoline.
