Fuel prices will decrease next week after several consecutive weeks of increases.
According to “ECO”, on Monday, July 15th, 95 octane gasoline will increase by 2 cents per liter, reaching an average price of €1.731 per liter.
On the other hand, diesel, the most consumed fuel in Portugal, is expected to increase by 2.5 cents per liter, reaching an average price of €1.579. If these predictions are confirmed, fuel prices will experience the first decrease in four consecutive weeks of increases.
The specialized publication in economic matters states that the predicted prices for next week already take into account the discounts applied by gas stations and the revision of temporary fiscal measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices. The tax reduction determined by the currently active measures is 25 cents per liter of diesel and 26 cents per liter of gasoline.
