The price of fuels will reinforce the downward trend that has been recorded in the last three weeks
Therefore, next Monday, May 20, simple diesel, the most consumed fuel in Portugal, is expected to drop by 1.5 cents per liter, to an average price of €1.55. The price of simple 95 gasoline is expected to decrease by 1 cent per liter, to €1.746 per liter.
These prices already take into account the discounts applied by the fuel companies and the revision of temporary tax measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices. The tax reduction determined by the measures currently in force is 25 cents per liter of diesel and 26 cents per liter of gasoline.
