The month of August starts with a mixed behavior of fuel prices, after two consecutive weeks of decline.
Therefore, and according to the calculations of “ECO“, next Monday, August 5, the price of regular 95 gasoline will experience a slight decrease of 0.5 cents per liter, to be priced at an average of €1.718 per liter.
On the other hand, regular diesel, the most consumed fuel in Portugal, is expected to have a relief of 0.5 cents per liter, at an average price of €1.548.
The specialized publication in economic matters reminds that these values already take into account the discounts applied by the gas stations and the revision of temporary fiscal measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices. The tax reduction determined by the currently in force measures is 25 cents per liter of diesel and 26 cents per liter of gasoline.
Remember that the cost of fuel at the pump will always depend on each refueling station, the brand, and the area where it is located.
