The price of diesel will decrease again next week, while gasoline will remain unchanged.
According to calculations by “ECO“, on Monday, March 11, diesel, the most used fuel in Portugal, is expected to decrease by 1.5 cents per liter to an average price of €1.615.
On the other hand, regular gasoline 95 is expected to remain unchanged compared to this ending week, at €1.734 per liter.
According to the specialized publication in economic matters, these prices already take into account the discounts applied by fuel companies and the revision of temporary fiscal measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices. The tax reduction determined by the measures currently in force is 25 cents per liter of diesel and 26 cents per liter of gasoline.
It is worth noting that this week, the price of diesel decreased by one cent per liter, while regular gasoline 95 increased by 0.7 cents, below market expectations that pointed to a 1.5 cent decrease in diesel and a one cent increase in gasoline.
