A Toyota surprised its fans by presenting at the Tokyo Motor Show (Japan Mobility Show 2023) the FT-Se, a prototype that anticipates the future sports car of the Japanese brand, which is nothing more than an evolution of the Spots EV, presented in 2021.

The FT-Se is a two-seater 100% electric model that features the features of high-performance models prepared by the Gazoo Racing sports division.

With an orange paint and black roof, the FT-Se integrates two generous air intakes at the front and a vertical LED technology signature at the ends.

This orange concept with a glass roof also features traditional black rearview mirrors and retractable door handles, indicating that this prototype may be very close to the production version.

Despite this, the technical data of this prototype has not yet been released, with Toyota only stating that the FT-Se is 4.38 meters long, 1.89 meters wide, 1.22 meters high, and has a wheelbase of 2.65 meters, something similar to the current GR Supra. In this way, the wide and low proportions, together with an elegant and modern silhouette, reduce aerodynamic drag and increase autonomy.
