Frédéric Vasseur fala de Ferrari de F1 ‘95%’ novo para 2024

Ferrari had a disappointing 2023 season in Formula 1, achieving only one victory. It was unable to challenge Red Bull for the title and even lost second place in the Constructors’ Championship to Mercedes. This year, the Scuderia wants to significantly improve, and team principal Frédéric Vasseur assured that there will be many changes.

Vasseur rejected the scenario of a 180-degree turnaround in the car, stating, as quoted by Motorsport.com: ‘Revolution, I don’t know if it’s the right word because we have had the same regulations for three consecutive years now, and you can’t change the situation considerably. It’s a matter of tenths of a second. It means it’s all about 0.1 percent or 0.2 percent of the performance we are looking for. It’s not five percent’.

Nevertheless, Vasseur revealed that a large part of the Ferrari will be new in 2024: ‘It is certain that we have to take a step forward. I do not underestimate that step. We are changing 95 percent of the car’s components. Maybe you can consider that a revolution’.
