Fred Vasseur afirma que a Ferrari está otimista em relação ao próximo Grande Prêmio do Canadá de alta velocidade de 2024.

Ferrari is currently in second place in the constructors’ championship, behind Red Bull by just 24 points. The Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal expressed confidence in their car and performance ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix. Ferrari has shown a significant improvement in their performance in the recent races of this season.

Heading into the Montreal weekend, the Maranello-based team aims to maintain their positive momentum from the Monaco race, where they secured a win and a podium finish. The team has been in excellent form this season, with both drivers achieving wins in Grand Prix races.

According to simulations carried out by Ferrari at the Montreal track, the results have been encouraging. Team Principal Fred Vasseur states that the Italian team is on par with the pace of Red Bull and McLaren. The Gilles Villeneuve circuit presents challenges with its undulations, kerbs, and demanding braking zones. This will not only test the high-speed capabilities of the SF-24 car, but also its braking performance.

The Ferrari SF-24 has performed as well as the RB20 and MCL38 cars in previous races at Imola, Miami, and Monaco. It is expected to be competitive at the Montreal circuit as well. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will look to maximize the advantages of having a reliable car on the high-speed track, aiming to add more wins and podium finishes to their record next weekend.

Former Formula 1 driver [Name] has shown support for Sainz, stating that Ferrari should not have replaced him. Sainz, who has been with Ferrari since the start of the 2021 season, has been a consistent performer, securing 20 podium finishes and three race wins. However, he now faces uncertainty regarding his future with the team, despite rumors of interest from various teams on the grid.

Ferrari has been in impressive form this season, and Carlos Sainz has been making the most of it, delivering strong performances. The upcoming races will further test Sainz’s skills as he seeks a desirable seat for the 2025 season.
