Ferrari’s Team Principal Reveals Surprising Secrets and Dreams of Legendary Driver

In a shocking turn of events, Ferrari’s team principal, Frederic Vasseur, has recently opened up in a candid interview on the F1 Instagram channel. Despite Ferrari’s rocky start to the season, Vasseur seems to have found his smile again, possibly buoyed by Charles Leclerc’s impressive performance at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah. This breakthrough allowed the SF-25 to end its podium drought in a grueling race, bringing back some much-needed positivity to the Ferrari camp.

During the surreal interview on F1’s social media channels, Vasseur revealed some intriguing insights, starting with his codename “George Clooney,” humorously linked to coffee commercials featuring the famous actor. He lightened the mood further by jokingly referring to Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton as “Charlo and Lulù,” showing a playful side rarely seen in the intense world of Formula 1.

In a more serious moment, Vasseur disclosed the name of the driver from Formula 1’s 75-year history whom he would have loved to manage as a team principal: “Jean Alesi. I would have loved to work with him.” This unexpected choice deviates from the usual names like Schumacher or Senna, highlighting Alesi’s profound love for Ferrari and his driving talent during the team’s challenging times.

Vasseur’s playful banter and genuine admiration for a past legend provide a refreshing insight into the inner workings of Ferrari’s leadership. As the team navigates through a competitive season, Vasseur’s revelations add a new layer of intrigue to the storied history of the Scuderia.
