Frankie Muniz Goes Full-Time in NASCAR Truck Series for 2025 with Reaume Brothers Racing

Frankie Muniz on pit road gets set to make his qualifying run for the Xfinity Series' United Rentals 300 on Saturday at Daytona International Speedway.

Former actor turned race car driver Frankie Muniz is set to embark on a new chapter in his racing career, as he announced he will compete full-time in the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Muniz, known for his starring role in the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle, will drive the No. 33 Ford for Reaume Brothers Racing, marking his first full season in a national NASCAR championship.

The move follows two successful appearances with Reaume Brothers Racing this season, where Muniz competed at Nashville and Kansas, laying the groundwork for his expanded commitment. The partnership with Reaume Brothers and support from Ford Performance will play a pivotal role in Muniz’s pursuit of success.

“I’m incredibly excited to join Reaume Brothers Racing full-time in 2025,” Muniz said. “My longstanding relationship with Ford has been a game changer, and I am thrilled to help facilitate additional support allowing us to tap into their exceptional technical and engineering resources. I’m confident that this synergy will elevate Reaume Brothers Racing and help us achieve great things together.”

Muniz’s last full-time racing campaign was in the ARCA Menards Series in 2023, where he secured one top-five finish and 11 top-10 finishes, ultimately finishing fourth in the championship standings. Since then, he has appeared sporadically in the Xfinity Series, further refining his stock car racing skills.

Team owner Josh Reaume expressed enthusiasm about Muniz’s full-time addition, stating, “We’re thrilled to welcome Frankie to our team full-time and to expand our relationship with Ford Performance. Their support has been invaluable, and we believe that with Frankie’s passion and our collective momentum from this year, we can make significant strides in the upcoming season.”

Muniz’s racing journey began in 2004 when he participated in the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race at Long Beach, which led him to compete in open-wheel series like Formula BMW and the Champ Car Atlantic Championship. After taking a break from motorsport, he returned to the racing scene in stock cars, debuting in the SRL Pro Late Model Series in 2021.

With Muniz’s unique background and drive, all eyes will be on him as he takes on the challenge of a full-time NASCAR campaign in 2025.
