François Provost é o novo CEO da Renault

The Board of Directors of the Renault Group, meeting this Wednesday under the presidency of Jean-Dominique Senard, decided, upon the recommendation of the Governance and Remuneration Committee, to appoint François Provost as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Renault S.A. and Chairman of Renault S.A.S., effective July 31, for a four-year term, replacing Luca de Meo on July 15.

Previously Director of Purchasing, Partnerships, and Public Affairs, François Provost is an experienced executive with 23 years of service within the Renault Group. With solid international experience in operational and strategic roles, a deep understanding of industry challenges, and a strategic vision, François Provost possesses the necessary qualities to continue and accelerate the development of the Renault Group. Furthermore, his skills will ensure the continuity of the Group’s development, particularly at the international level and through partnerships, capitalizing on its strategic agility and maintaining high performance standards, in full respect of the company’s values.

“It is with pride and gratitude that I accept this appointment. I would like to warmly thank my Chairman, Jean-Dominique Senard, and the Board of Directors for the trust placed in me. I have a special thought for the teams of the Group who have supported me over these 23 years. I will dedicate all my energy and passion to contribute – alongside our 100,000 employees, dealers, suppliers, and partners – to the development of our Group, one of the jewels of the French industry for 127 years”, said the new CEO of Renault in a statement.
