Formula E World Champion Secures Epic Multi-Year Deal with Nissan in Unchanged Season 12 Line-Up

Formula E’s newest season is already causing a stir as Nissan Formula E Team announces their unchanged driver line-up for Season 12. The team has secured World Champion Oliver Rowland for another thrilling season, alongside his partner Norman Nato.

After an outstanding performance leading to his first Formula E title, Rowland has solidified his commitment to Nissan by signing a multi-year deal. This will mark his sixth season with the team, showcasing a strong bond and trust between the driver and the Japanese marque.

Speculation surrounded who would accompany Rowland on the track, with rumors pointing to Sergio Sette Camara. However, Nato retains his spot despite a 20th place finish in the previous season’s standings. His determination and past successes, including pole position and sixth-place finishes, have secured his position for Season 12.

Expressing his excitement, Rowland stated, “What we’ve managed to achieve following my return in 2023/24 has been remarkable.” The driver emphasized the team’s support and his aim to build on the previous season’s success through hard work and dedication.

Nato, coming off a victory at the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo, expressed his delight at continuing with Nissan Formula E Team. He highlighted his confidence and growth potential for the upcoming season, aiming to leverage his experience from Season 11 for even better results.

The dynamic duo of Rowland and Nato is poised to make waves in Season 12, with both drivers determined to push for the Teams’ Championship. As the anticipation builds for the season opener in Sao Paulo on December 6, all eyes are on Nissan Formula E Team and their unchanged yet formidable line-up.

Excitement is mounting in the world of Formula E as Nissan locks in their winning team for the upcoming season, promising fans an electrifying display of skill and strategy on the track.
