The calendar for the next Formula E season is closed. The FIA World Council approved the schedule on Thursday, which includes the debut of Shanghai in what is a return to China and the inclusion of Hiderabade. Jakarta, Indonesia, is left out of the provisional calendar.

As previously announced, the Mexico City ePrix kicks off on January 13, followed by a double round in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, on January 26 and 27. Hiderabade, India, will take place on February 10, before the São Paulo ePrix in Brazil. Next is a return to Asia for the Tokyo ePrix in Japan.

The entry into Europe takes place with a double round in Italy on April 13 and 14. Rome has always been the venue, but the city is not yet confirmed. Then, the races in Monaco and Germany in Berlin take place, while on May 25 and 26, the Shanghai ePrix makes its debut, marking the return to China. Unusually, it will be on a permanent track, the Shanghai International Circuit.

The end of the season remains the same, with the Portland ePrix in the United States on June 29, followed by a double round in London, United Kingdom, on July 20 and 21. The Jakarta ePrix, originally scheduled, is removed from the calendar. The Cape Town ePrix in South Africa is the other exit compared to the 2023 season.

Formula E calendar for 2024:
January 13: Mexico City ePrix (Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, Mexico City, Mexico)
January 26 and 27: Diriyah ePrix (Riyadh Street Circuit, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia)
February 10: Hiderabade ePrix (Hyderabad Street Circuit, Hyderabad, India)
March 16: São Paulo ePrix (São Paulo Street Circuit, São Paulo, Brazil)
March 30: Tokyo ePrix (To be announced, Tokyo, Japan)
