Formula 1 Teams Brace for Inferno: Bahrain Grand Prix’s Scorching 40-Degree Heatwave

Get ready for a scorching showdown as F1 stars gear up for the Bahrain Grand Prix! The heat is on as the Formula 1 extravaganza descends upon Sakhir for the fourth round of the 2025 F1 season.

After the cool spring conditions at the Japanese Grand Prix, drivers, team members, and media personnel are in for a fiery surprise in Sakhir. With temperatures reaching a blistering 40 degrees Celsius, the heatwave is set to test everyone’s endurance to the limit. Media day on Thursday will be a grueling affair with scorching temperatures making it unbearable for all involved.

As the weekend approaches, the mercury is expected to hover in the mid-30s, adding to the challenge for teams setting up their garages and organizers preparing the track for the high-octane competition. Friday’s FP1 session will take place under the blazing sun at around 32 degrees, with not a drop of rain in sight, making it a tough session for the drivers.

The Bahrain race, known for its evening schedule, will provide some relief from the scorching daytime temperatures. With the race starting at 6 pm local time on Sunday, temperatures are forecasted to be a more bearable 26 degrees Celsius. As the race progresses under the clear night skies, temperatures will drop further, but high humidity levels of around 55% during qualifying and the grand prix on Sunday will add another layer of challenge for the competitors.

Stay tuned for more F1 headlines as the drama unfolds on the track in Bahrain!
