Especialista em F1 alega que Charles Leclerc depende excessivamente da velocidade enquanto parceiro da Ferrari, Carlos Sainz, o supera no Grande Prêmio do Bahrein.

The Monegasque driver needs to be proactive in his decisions, instead of relying on last-minute changes. The Bahrain Grand Prix did not go as planned for the Monegasque. Starting in second place on the grid, he had a golden opportunity to secure pole position. However, his car faced numerous issues throughout the race. Leclerc’s car was constantly locking up in all the corners, significantly impacting his pace. This allowed other drivers to overtake him, leaving the Monegasque driver struggling to keep up. His dissatisfaction was evident in his radio communication. In contrast, his teammate not only managed to overtake, but also secured a spot on the podium. Last year, the Spaniard was the only Red Bull driver to secure a pole position. He even engaged in a fierce battle on the track with his teammate. Considering this situation, the F1 analyst believes that Sainz may be more astute when it comes to making pre-race decisions. Speaking to the press, she added that, according to the F1 analyst, Charles Leclerc needs to reassess his pre-race planning. Perhaps, like his teammate, he should consider thinking ahead. Although Bahrain was just one race, the Monegasque driver still has 23 more races to prove himself and dispel any doubts. Charles Leclerc was unable to complete a single lap in the Bahrain Grand Prix due to brake issues. Despite qualifying in second place, Leclerc’s hopes for a successful start to the 2024 season were dashed as he fell behind his teammate Carlos Sainz and others. Throughout the first ten laps, Leclerc struggled with lock-ups and off-track excursions, eventually discovering a brake-related issue that hampered his performance. Despite adjusting the brake balance rearward, he was unable to navigate turns 9 and 10. Additionally, he faced locking issues on every lap, requiring significant changes. Undoubtedly, this was not the race the Monegasque had envisioned. It was a frustrating experience for him, as he had eagerly anticipated this race for some time. He had hoped for better results this weekend, but despite his best efforts, he fell short. Now, he aims to address all the issues before the next race.
