Especialista em Fórmula 1 analisa a grande ‘batalha pelo controle’ na Red Bull.

Ernest Knoors provides information about the turbulence in the Red Bull racing team. Allegations of inappropriate and controlling behavior arose in early February, shocking the Formula 1 community and putting an end to speculation worldwide. After a thorough investigation, Horner was cleared before the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Since the start of the investigation, there has been significant turmoil within Red Bull. The situation became even more complicated with the leaking of evidence. Media reports suggest that Horner had the support of majority shareholders, who own more than half of the shares, even during the investigation. Media analyst Ernest Knoors brought to light the behind-the-scenes politics at Red Bull amidst the ongoing turmoil.

The team consultant and principal decision-maker at Red Bull Racing, Christian Horner, hold the majority of decision-making power. They allegedly attempted to undermine Red Bull Austria with the help of a prominent shareholder. The impact of internal power struggles and politics within the racing team is yet to be seen.

Adding to the chaos, Red Bull is now facing further troubles. Despite Horner’s innocence, an anonymous email containing leaked evidence against him was sent immediately after. This new development, along with the ongoing investigation, has put Red Bull in a precarious position. Key figures from other teams have expressed their dissatisfaction and called for FIA intervention.

The suspension of a female staff member who initiated the investigation further complicates things for Red Bull. This situation exacerbates internal politics and power struggles within the team. A Red Bull spokesperson declined to comment on the matter, citing the company’s policy of not discussing internal employment issues.
