Following an intensive three-day trial period at the Bahrain Formula 1 testing, Johnny Herbert, former British racing driver, has made a bold prediction for the 2025 season. Herbert anticipates a powerful beginning for McLaren, forecasting a world championship title for the team and its star driver, Lando Norris, by the end of the year.

Herbert spent the trial period scrutinizing the performances of various teams under the challenging weather conditions of Bahrain. The unusually low temperatures combined with the disruptive force of strong winds and rain created a unique challenge for the teams, testing their adaptability and resilience.

Amidst these testing conditions, McLaren emerged as a formidable contender. On the first day of testing, Lando Norris set the pace, demonstrating an impressive performance that turned heads and set tongues wagging about the prospects of the team in the coming season.

However, despite his forecast for Norris and McLaren, Herbert did not overlook the talent of Max Verstappen. Recognizing Verstappen as potentially the finest driver in Formula 1, Herbert’s prediction of a championship for Norris does not undermine the skill and prowess of Verstappen. Rather, it reflects the strength and potential of McLaren as a team and Norris as a driver in the upcoming season.

Such a prediction from a renowned figure like Herbert is bound to cause a stir in the world of Formula 1. Will McLaren and Norris live up to Herbert’s expectations, or will this season bring unexpected twists and turns? The coming months will unravel the answers as anticipation continues to mount in the world of Formula 1 racing.
