Formula 1 Faces Sweltering Inferno at Saudi GP: Extreme Heat Forecast for Jeddah!

Get ready for a scorching hot showdown at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah! Formula 1 is gearing up to tackle the extreme heat at the Jeddah Corniche circuit with temperatures set to hit a high of 31°C, making the track sizzle at around 50°C.

As the F1 championship makes its fifth stop in Saudi Arabia this season, drivers are bracing themselves for a hot and humid weekend of racing. Despite the evening schedule for both qualifying and the Grand Prix, starting at 7 pm, previous years have seen temperatures soar, and this year is expected to be even hotter.

For the opening session of the Grand Prix weekend, FP1 is expected to kick off with an ambient temperature of 28°C, accompanied by strong wind gusts of 30 to 40kph. The real challenge, however, will be the sticky and wet 70% humidity that drivers will have to contend with on the track.

Usually, one might expect a slight drop in temperature during an evening session, but not in Saudi Arabia. Friday evening will see the temperature holding steady, with the wind calming down to gusts of 20kph and humidity levels decreasing to 65%. There is no relief in sight as there is no chance of overnight rain to cool things down.

Buckle up for a high-octane race weekend in Jeddah, where the drivers will not only have to outmaneuver their opponents but also battle against the sweltering heat and oppressive humidity. It’s going to be a showdown like no other at the Saudi GP!
