Antigo chefe de equipe da Fórmula 1 sugere que Lewis Hamilton pode enfrentar dificuldades para manter a liderança sobre Charles Leclerc na Ferrari.

Lewis Hamilton has been plying his trade with Mercedes since 2013. Charles Leclerc, on the other hand, has been associated with Ferrari since 2019. Hamilton, a seven-time former world champion, will switch to Ferrari from the 2025 season onwards. Despite his legendary status in the sport, a former F1 team manager suggested that Hamilton will face difficulties competing against the highly skilled Leclerc.

Leclerc, considered one of the fastest drivers on the current grid, possesses all the necessary skills to become a future world champion. At just 26 years old, he has the potential to achieve great success in Formula 1. Flavio Braitore, expressing his opinion on the matter, believes that Leclerc’s skill in F1 will be too much for Hamilton to handle in the upcoming season.

As the 2024 F1 season has just begun, there is still a long way to go before its conclusion. Ferrari will closely monitor Hamilton’s performances in his Mercedes W15. While Braitore doubts Hamilton’s prospects against Leclerc at Ferrari, the current campaign has not gone as planned for Hamilton so far. He has been overshadowed by his younger teammate at Mercedes, Russell, in the W15. Hamilton finished a disappointing ninth in Jeddah, while Russell achieved a respectable sixth place. This has led Hamilton to call for significant changes within the team.

Hamilton cannot escape the fact that he has been outshone by his younger teammate in the first two races of the year. Both drivers have the same equipment at their disposal, but Russell has managed to extract the most from it. Despite being the biggest name on the current F1 grid, with a huge fan base, Hamilton’s upcoming races may bring more disappointments. The Australian GP weekend is scheduled to start on March 22.
