Chefe de equipe anterior da Fórmula 1 sugere que Adrian Newey vai levar seu tempo antes de aceitar nova posição após saída da Red Bull em meio a especulações ligando-o à Ferrari.

Adrian Newey is set to leave Red Bull at the beginning of 2025, after being a key figure in Milton Keynes for almost twenty years. Newey, who joined the team in 2005, played a significant role in Red Bull’s success, including multiple world titles. With his departure, there are concerns about the impact this will have on the team. Speculation is rife that the 65-year-old Briton may take some time before joining another team, considering the time he spent in Milton Keynes. Former Formula 1 team owner Eddie Jordan believes Newey may need time to reflect on the pressures of working as an engineer in such a demanding environment.

Jordan also noted that there have been significant changes since Newey joined Red Bull. He mentioned that the British engineer has aged during his time with the team and had the opportunity to work with exceptional teams and drivers. This could lead Newey to seek a change in his professional life.

The reasons behind Newey’s departure from Red Bull are complex. Tensions between key figures and the aftermath of a tragic event, as well as an ongoing investigation, have strained relationships within the team. This power struggle has led to Newey’s decision to leave. This departure has created a rift between Newey and team boss Christian Horner, who has lost a valuable ally. The consequences of this loss are yet to be seen.

As Newey contemplates his future, he will assess his options and decide whether he wants to continue working at the pinnacle of motorsport. He will fulfill his obligations on the RB17 Hypercar before cutting ties completely with Red Bull. The coming weeks will be crucial for the 65-year-old Briton as he navigates through this transition period.
