Ex-piloto da Fórmula 1 insiste que Carlos Sainz irá se juntar à Audi como um piloto habilidoso.

Carlos Sainz is reportedly Audi’s top choice to lead their entry into Formula 1. Sainz, who will be leaving Ferrari next season, has caught the attention of several teams due to his recent improvement in performance. Former Formula 1 driver Anthony Davidson suggested that the 29-year-old Spanish driver would be a suitable option for Audi.

Audi is set to join Formula 1 in 2026 after acquiring Sauber. Rumors suggest that the German manufacturer is targeting Carlos Sainz and Nico Hulkenberg for their driver lineup. Sainz has been given a two-week ultimatum by Audi to accept their offer and join Sauber before the acquisition.

Davidson believes that Audi would be an ideal place for an experienced driver like Sainz to contribute to the growth of a new team. He expressed confidence that the Spanish driver will join Sauber next season and help establish Audi’s presence in Formula 1.

According to Davidson, while Sauber’s spirit remains intact, Audi and their new signings will aim to make a significant impact at the top of motorsport. Carlos Sainz’s experience and guidance would be invaluable to Audi, as the manufacturer may have set overly ambitious goals for their venture into Formula 1.

Carlos Sainz has been driving for Scuderia Ferrari since 2021 and has achieved respectable results despite the challenges faced. Davidson praised Sainz for his ability to turn the situation around even when his team’s strategy failed in the past, describing him as an authoritative driver.

Davidson believes it would not be surprising to see Sainz racing for Audi in the future. Sauber CEO Andreas Seidl, who previously was the team principal at McLaren during Sainz’s time with the team, could facilitate a smooth transition for the Spanish driver at the Hinwil-based team.

So far, Carlos Sainz has not made a decision about his future. However, negotiations are progressing quickly and it seems that Audi could be the most promising option for the 29-year-old driver, although as part of a long-term project. Fans eagerly await an announcement from Sainz about his future in Formula 1.
