Ex-piloto da Fórmula 1 afirma que Lando Norris tem habilidade para desafiar Max Verstappen em condições iguais.

Lando Norris displayed an impressive performance as the British driver emerged victorious over Max Verstappen in Miami. Norris, who had been going through a dry spell in Formula 1, finally secured a win in the race. Taking advantage of a Safety Car period, he managed to take the lead and successfully defend it against Verstappen throughout the race, crossing the finish line in first place. This achievement led former F1 driver Anthony Davidson to believe that Norris has the potential to challenge Verstappen in future races.

Davidson, an F1 commentator, questioned whether Norris could compete with Verstappen on equal terms. In response, the former Honda driver quickly recognized Norris’ incredible racing ability. He also highlighted Norris’ proficiency in wet track conditions and his ability to analyze the course of a race. According to Davidson, Norris remained calm when he inherited the lead under the Safety Car, thanks to McLaren’s smart strategy. By pitting one lap after most drivers, Norris was able to maintain a comfortable advantage over Verstappen.

Red Bull is set to introduce an upgrade package for the next race in Imola. In Miami, the Austrian team faced strong competition from McLaren and Mercedes, who also brought upgrades to their cars. However, it is expected that Red Bull will regain their pace advantage in the next race. Davidson predicts that the current world champions will come back stronger in Imola, drawing a parallel with Verstappen’s dominant performance in the previous race in Australia after retiring from the race before.

Although Red Bull will likely maintain an advantage over McLaren, Lando Norris will certainly seek to challenge Max Verstappen in more races this season. If McLaren keeps progressing, fans can expect an exciting battle between Verstappen and Norris throughout the year.
