Ex-piloto da Fórmula 1 acredita que seria ‘absurdo’ para Max Verstappen deixar a Red Bull.

There are rumors circulating that Max Verstappen could potentially join Mercedes in 2025 due to controversies surrounding Red Bull. The team has been in the spotlight since the beginning of the season, with speculations that key members are considering leaving. Additionally, there have been talks about Verstappen’s future with the team. However, the former F1 driver has denied these rumors amidst the growing tensions.

The F1 community was surprised by the news of Red Bull’s departure, fueling speculations that Verstappen could leave the reigning champions for Mercedes as early as 2025. However, Juan Pablo Montoya dismissed these rumors as “crazy”. According to Montoya, it is unimaginable for Verstappen to leave a dominant team like Red Bull. The only conceivable reason for his departure would be due to his father’s influence. However, Montoya believes that Verstappen holds his destiny in his own hands and would not abandon a team that is currently dominating F1.

Although Verstappen has been a dominant force in F1 in recent years, he is facing a unique situation at Red Bull. Experts fear that if things do not calm down, he may consider switching to another team in the near future. However, Verstappen has expressed his views on the rumors, stating that the media is exaggerating the situation. He believes that the atmosphere in Milton Keynes, where Red Bull is based, is much calmer. While acknowledging that Newey’s departure is a significant loss for the team, Verstappen remains committed to Red Bull and has faith in his abilities.

Despite Verstappen’s optimism, there seems to be some discomfort within the Red Bull headquarters. It will be intriguing to see how the situation unfolds, considering the volatility of the driver market this season. The coming months may bring unexpected surprises.
