Aston Martin seems to get a agreement with Newey for F1, and also aims for Verstappen

Damon Hill believes that Adrian Newey’s best option, despite rumored interest from Ferrari, is Aston Martin. Newey recently left Red Bull after 18 years with the team, and speculation surrounded his next move. However, Hill states that Aston Martin is the perfect choice for Newey due to their available resources and the recently finalized deal. Hill believes that Aston Martin has the potential to become a top team in the future, and with Newey’s expertise, they will be closer to achieving success.

Hill also mentions that Ferrari is falling behind in the race to sign Newey, with McLaren and Aston Martin being more favorable options. He believes that McLaren is already performing well, so it wouldn’t be appropriate to disrupt their current team structure. Therefore, Aston Martin emerges as the ideal choice for Newey.

Based on his past experience working with Newey at Williams, Hill recognizes the engineer’s exceptional abilities. While Newey is known for his aerodynamics expertise, Hill emphasizes that his true strength lies in understanding a racing car as a whole. Newey has extensive knowledge of every aspect of the car, including aerodynamics, the chassis, and the engine. He also takes into account the driver’s needs and preferences, which contributes to his detailed approach to car design. Hill believes that Newey’s focus on the driver is key to developing well-balanced cars that perform exceptionally on the track.

Overall, Hill is confident that Newey’s arrival at Aston Martin will bring success to the team. He believes that Newey’s abilities and talent are unmatched, setting him apart from other engineers. In the future, Aston Martin will undoubtedly be grateful for Newey’s contributions.
