Fry recently expressed his opinion, stating that despite Verstappen’s impressive achievements, he will not be remembered as a legendary driver like Hamilton, Schumacher, and Senna. Fry also suggested that Verstappen needs to do more than just win races to make a lasting impact.
While Fry’s comments imply that Verstappen is not the type of driver who would inspire movies, it is important to note that Verstappen is still young at 26 years old. He has plenty of time ahead of him to shape his character and career, and perhaps change the perception of skeptics like Fry. Verstappen has already secured three world championships and 54 Grand Prix wins.
Many pundits consider Verstappen to be one of the greatest drivers in F1 history. He is also seen as a potential record-breaker who could surpass Schumacher and Hamilton’s seven world championships.
