Fábrica da Ford no Reino Unido inicia produção do motor elétrico do Puma Gen-E

Ford will call back over 850,000 vehicles in the U.S. due to a fuel pump failure that could cause the engine to stall while driving, increasing the risk of an accident.

The announced recall covers a wide range of vehicles from the Ford and Lincoln brands manufactured in recent years, including models of the Ford Bronco, Explorer, and Lincoln Aviators produced between 2021 and 2023, as well as F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, and F-550 SD models from 2021 to 2023, along with some units of the Lincoln Navigator, Ford Mustang, and F-150s from 2021 and 2022, in addition to some units of the Ford Expedition from 2022, according to a note released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Ford has already announced that it will begin sending notification letters to affected owners starting next Monday, warning them of the safety risks related to a possible fuel pump failure.

The American brand has stated that, to date, it is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this potential fuel pump failure, but warns that owners of the identified models should be alert to possible warnings. Before a fuel pump failure, customers may experience engine failures, with the check engine light illuminated on the dashboard, or a reduction in engine power.
