Flavio Briatore afirma que a Alpine está determinada a garantir a assinatura de Carlos Sainz.

Flavio Briatore asserts that Alpine is eager to secure the services of Carlos Sainz for the year 2025. The Executive Consultant of Alpine is targeting Carlos Sainz from Ferrari. Sainz has not yet signed a contract with his next team and will need to vacate the Ferrari seat in 2025.

During a press interview, Flavio Briatore acknowledged Alpine’s considerable interest in hiring Carlos Sainz. He stated that the team will make every effort to assess the situation in the coming days. Briatore emphasized that Alpine’s current priority is to focus on improving the car, rather than solely focusing on the driver. Enhancing the car’s performance is crucial for them as they are already falling behind in the standings. The brain behind the Crashgate believes that Alpine will prioritize building their car before making any decisions about their driver lineup.

Briatore expressed surprise at a driver like Sainz being available in the driver market without a team. The Italian conveyed everyone’s strong interest at Alpine in bringing the Spaniard to the team. Briatore emphasized his total commitment to do everything in his power to secure the hiring of Carlos Sainz.

Flavio Briatore confidently stated that Alpine will achieve victories and podiums in 2026. He acknowledged the uncertainty regarding the exact number of victories they can achieve. The Italian mentioned that Alpine currently faces numerous challenges as they undergo a complete restructuring of their team. They are working to overcome these disadvantages in order to position themselves strongly for future success on the race track.

Furthermore, Briatore revealed that he received full authority from the president of the Renault group. The 74-year-old Italian expressed his tranquility with the responsibility and confidently assured that Alpine will achieve podium finishes within two seasons. This demonstrates his confidence in Alpine’s potential to excel in Formula 1 in the coming years.

Undoubtedly, Italian businessman Flavio Briatore expressed confidence that Alpine will become a formidable competitor starting in 2026. They are undergoing a complete restructuring of their organization and are hopeful to sign Carlos Sainz, which could potentially give them an advantage. Fans are eager to hear news about the Ferrari driver’s signing, should he agree to the deal.
